My Cosplay timeline up to 2014

Description

I have been tagged by Sketch Mc-Draw Cosplay to post a timeline of my cosplay costumes. And... here it is! It's really small compared to others', but I can't help it. Usually the problem with making more costumes is money, since I tend to spend quite a bit on them and then time, as I spend a lot of time on details in cosplay, and because if I have time, I don't have money, since I live out of commissions. Vicious circle, what can I say!
I am happy to see I have improved my sewing skills over time and that I chose to tackle all sorts of materials and techniques. I hope to do that in the future as well!

If you want to read the whole story, here it is:

So... 2007 - Matsumoto Rangiku from Bleach - a lot of improvising and searching blindly on the internet.
2008 - Yoko Nakajima from Twelve Kingdoms - learnt more about better sewing and just a bit about crafting.
2009 - Saber from Fate/Stay - my most unfinished and careless costume - totally ashamed of it - I worked on it while working on three or four other costumes in the same time and I never styled the wig or had time for the make-up... and I made the sword on the train on the way to the con... A plus... I leant to make a pattern for the first time in my life.
2011 - I took a break from cosplay and came back in force with the Medicin Seller from Mononoke. First time working seriously with other materials than fabric. Totally enjoyed it. Hated the body paint, though...
2011 - Athena (armor) from Saint Seiya - crazy project in very little time. First time vacuum forming and actually making armor. First time making wings. the armor turned out great, but the paint job sucked big time!
2012 - Rarity from My Little Pony - fun simple project, just to relax myself. The character I love the most to cosplay, since I can play her very well.
2012 - Athena from Saint Seiya - another fun simple project and also a test to work with wonderflex (the corset). I already had the wig and the staff, so... why not?
2012 - Mandarin Spawn (the figurine) - the big project of 2012, made for theEuroCosplay finals. Spent a ton of time researching, and testing materials. Spent only one month and a half building the whole thing, with countless sleepless nights, stress and gaining weight. The cosplay that makes me feel really proud and nostalgic.
2013 - Female Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed Black Flag - the first cosplay where I actually insisted on having a really clean build. Really proud of the result and it's one of the most comfortable costumes I have.
2014 - Vi from League of Legends. Started in 2013, finished in 2014. Enjoyed styling a wig for the first time in my life. My second most enjoyable character to cosplay, 'cause she's so badass! Somehow made me feel more confident in myself, I have no idea why. My first time when people recognized me outside of the convention, as well.
